Minifig and Minipets Of The Month

Hey, dudes and dudettes, this is Clutch Powers here, and, as usual, we've got minifig of the month. Since it's Christmas time, you can probably guess who this month's minfig is going to be. But, it's not just him. It's his pets, too; nine of them to be exact. They are..
Santa and his reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, and best of all, Rudolph!

Merry Christmas,
- Clutch Powers

Hello, fellow adventurers! Today, I tried to find a Pilgrim minifigure, but all I found was this:

So, I guess that this will have to do for your minifig of the month. Sorry.

Minifigs of The Past Couple of Months...

Hello, fellow adventurers! Sorry for the delay, but I have been adventuring the world of Heroica, and I just got back from my flight a week ago, so I'm still getting over my jetleg! Due to this, I have been trying to recover!

Anyway, I need to get Minifig of The Month done!

August's Minifig is...
Darth Vader!

September's Minifig is...
Robin!
For October's Minifig, since it's near Halloween...
The Mummy!
Thank you for your time of waiting, and happy adventuring,
- Clutch Powers

Did you know?

Hello, fellow adventurers!

Today, as I went on an adventure on the internet, I found the best place to put your Legos if you have to ship them somewhere. You put them in a box with styrofoam peanuts/popcorn or bubble wrap.

This way, they will be intact, and your minifigures will feel like they are in first class.

Happy adventuring (and happy flying to any minifigs moving somewhere else),
-Clutch Powers

P.S. I hope you saw the TV special (as shown in the last post)!

Lego Star Wars TV Special!

After the runaway success of their wildly popular building sets, video game collaborations and animated shorts, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm will join forces once again for an all-new adventure -- their first-ever original television special. Premiering on Cartoon Network on Friday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. (ET, PT) in high-definition computer animation, the 30-minute original standalone special -- LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace -- will feature the charm, action and irreverent humor that have become the signature style of LEGO Star Wars animation collaborations.

Featuring situations, characters and locations from throughout the entire Star Wars Saga, the original adventure is written by Emmy® Award winner Michael Price (The Simpsons) and produced by Academy Award-winning Animal Logic, the production company behind Happy Feet.
"We're certain that fans of LEGO play and the Star Wars universe will be as excited by this new original animated LEGO Star Wars episode as we are," said Jill Wilfert, vice president of licensing and entertainment for The LEGO Group. "Developing original animated content leveraging the LEGO andStar Wars brands is incredibly rewarding for us because it not only engages and entertains fans in original stories and adventures that further their imaginative play, it authentically delivers on the inherent values and fun that LEGO play brings to the partnership."

LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace is scheduled to air multiple times on Cartoon Network during the weekend including: Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), Saturday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, July 24 at 4:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
A routine Jedi Academy field trip is turned into a rip-roaring comic adventure in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Tour guide Master Yoda leads a group of rambunctious Jedi younglings through Senate chambers when he senses a disturbance in the Force.
Summoned to help save the Republic, he discovers that one of the younglings secretly boarded his ship...and has a taste for adventure! Meanwhile, C-3PO and R2-D2 are put in charge of the boisterous group and find themselves in over their heads. As the evil Sith prepare to wreak havoc, it's up to Yoda and the droids to ensure that their young charges aren't torn to bricks!

Here are some sneak peeks...

and that's all you get.

Watch the special if you can, because it smells like adventure,

Out Of All The Places I've Been..

Hello, junior world adventurers! This is Clutch Powers. Now, I have been many places in my fair share of adventuring, and I've got to say that Houston,Texas is my favorite place that I have lived, because that is where I lived for the beginning of my career. You might know Texas as the Lone Star State, or as the place of cowboys. Well, I like it because it is so adventurous and exciting. It definitely boosted up my knowledge of adventuring!

Anyway, Houston is a very big place, and it's not all city. There are some towns outside of the actual city. A fun thing to do is go to a baseball game at Minute Maid park, home of the Houston Astros, a baseball team. Also, the malls are very fun to go to, with all sorts of awesome things. The movies, the bookstore, the ice cream, and much more! I truly recommend that you go there.

Hope your adventuring goes well,
-Clutch Powers

Happy Chinese New Year!

Hello and Happy Chinese New Year! At my Chinese new year, I visited some good friends of mine for some great Chinese cuisine! They used this steam pot to cook the pork. It only needs to be dipped in it for about a second, then it is finished! Great invention!

After that, I played "trains" with my friend and made a railroad! It was quite a sight to behold. After that, I let him borrow some of my train toys! He rrrreaaaallllyyy liked the sound of that!

Hope your Chinese new year was good,
-Clutch Powers
